Lhasa Apso's (pronounced la'-sa aup' so) and Shih Tzu's present a unique coat care challenge. These dogs can have elegant, flowing coats if given the proper care. However, these coats require bi-DAILY combing and brushing to remain tangle-free.

If opting for this look, professional grooming is required only about every 8 to 10 weeks, just for trimming up pads, feet, face and sanitary clip, assuming that you have been combing regularly.
